Onboard camera for auto , bike or surfboard?
like I had posted before I was able to drive at a track day for the march of dimes recently and at this event I was able to rent a video camera that mounted in the dash. there are a good number of them out there and i found two that I really liked.
Datatoys.com was the company that I rented from. The main site seems to be here : http://www.datatoys.com/singlecamsys.htm
while the above link does go to their site i think they are updating the site and the new site i was directed to via snail mail was : http://www.pv-800.com/products/Products-Video_Systems/c9_1/index.html?osCsid=a7965c174c3c42d385a4ae16facdb0c0
either way it is a great camera!
I also found this camera (which is alot cheaper) but might not be as rugged or featured..
http://www.goprocamera.com/ the cool thing about the Motorsports hero WIDE is that is has a full 170 degree wide angle lens on it and so you get a much bigger view of the area around you.
If you are taking your car on a track or just taking them out for fun on a back road. a video is a cool way to save that memory.
